Time off Request

The Time off Request section allows field staff to submit requests for days off, giving the field staff the ability to add a reason for why they need the time off directly from the IPhone application. Once a time off request has been approved by management, the requested days off will added to the schedule section of the RTPro application.

When Time off Requests are submitted to RTPRo a email is sent to the companies representative, with the requested days off and the reason for the days off.

In the web application version of the Time off Request section staff can look all time off requests for a given company.

Configuring Time off Request Submission Email Alert

The company representative that receives a email from RTPro, when a time off request submission occurs is a function of who is set up to receive the Time off Request Submission. The person whom should receive this email, should probably be someone in management or human resources. To configure Safety Net for whom receives receives this email alert in the Company Email Alert section.

View Schedule

The schedule section of RTPro allows staff to view where and when and what work order field staff are scheduled to work on. The schedule also lists staff"s approved days off. Field staff can also download their schedule to their IPhone Application. For more information about downloading a field staffs schedule to their IPhone Application click here

1.Search Time off Request

Time off Requests can be searched by a combination of the 'Employee' and 'Approval Status'. Users can narrow down the search results by choosing any combination of the two search criteria.

All search result can be sorted by clicking on the results headings; Employee Name, Start Date, End Date Submission Date, Approved Status, Meeting Type and Status. Clicking on the same heading can do switching the results order from ascending to descending.

2.Delete a Time off Request

Delete a time off request may have to be done if the report is corrupted or if meeting was added to the system incorrectly. Only time off requests that have not been reviewed by management can be deleted.

To delete a time off request, click the 'Delete' link of the time off request you want to delete.

3.Look up a Time off Request

To get to the edit screen of a time off request, click on the “Edit” link of the time off request that you would like to edit.

To view the report in html click on the 'Html view' link of the time off request you would like to view.

To view a printable document file (PDF) view of the time off request, click on the 'PDF view' link of the appropriate time off request report.

4.Add Time off Request

To add a time off request, click on the 'Add Time Off Request' link.

On the next screen, enter information in the following fields:

Employee: Allows a user to select the employee requesting the time off.Note:Field staff are not able to choose a employee, they can only submit time off requests for themselves.

Start Date: The start date field is the first date the employee is requesting off. The date field is formatted in YYYY-MM-DD format and will not accept any other format.

End Date: The end date field is the last date the employee is requesting off. The date field is formatted in YYYY-MM-DD format and will not accept any other format.

Reason:Allows a user to enter a reason for need the time off. The character limit of this field is 500.

Once the information has been input, click the 'Add' button.

5.Edit a Time off Request

Once on the time off request edit screen.

Once the information has been input,click the 'Save' button to ensure that any information changed is saved in the system.

6.Approve Time off Request

Once on the time off request edit screen.

Management will not have the choice to choose, whom approved the time off request. While Safety Officers and Office Staff can choose the employee whom approves the time off request.

Employee: Allows a user to select the employee approving the time off.

To approve the time off request click the 'Approve' button.

The time off requested will be automatically added to the schedule.

7.Reject Time off Request

Once on the time off request edit screen.

Management will not have the choice to choose, whom rejected the time off request. While Safety Officers and Office Staff can choose the employee whom rejected the time off request.

Employee: Allows a user to select the employee rejecting the time off.

To reject the time off request click the 'Reject' button.
