Company Confined Space Considerations

Through SafetyNet's company confined space considerations section companies can manage the list of circumstances a company wants their staff to keep in mind on confined space entry report. Confined Space Entry Report will need to occur when a company employee is involved in work in a area deemed to be confined space.

These confined space considerations are set up so companies can build a list of safety considerations their staff can review before starting work. Companies can choose from default considerations SafetyNet provides. Companies may need to alter their confined space considerations lists as things change over time, as safety regulations by companies have changed.

To view how your companies' confined space entry report will appear with all active considerations, contaminants and confined space notes click the "Company Confined Space Entry Report" link, which will show what the confined space entry report will look like.

The confined space entry reports section is only available to users that have the confined space entry reports section turned on for their users group. To change users access to confined space entry reports, management and office staff can change access in Application Section to view the information about the Application Section Click Here

1.Add Company Confined Space Considerations

To add a Company Confined Space Consideration, click on the 'Add Company Confined Space Considerations' link.

On the next screen, under Add Company Confined Space Consideration heading, select:

Consideration Paragraph: Allows the user to input the consideration paragraph. Its best to be descriptive of what field staff should be considering before they begin their confined space entry. The character limit of this field is 500.

Order: The order field allows users to set the order of which considerations appear in a company confined space entry report. The select box is populated with the full complement of numbers depending on how many considerations exist for a company, plus one more for the new consideration.

Active Status: By selecting a active status from the select box, which loads with active and inactive. Only considerations set to active will be added to a confined space entry report.

Then click the 'Save' button. The edit company confined space consideration screen will load. From here, proceed to edit as per the instructions below.

2.Add Company Confined Space Consideration from Default

To add a Company Equipment Inspection from Default, click on the 'Add From Default Company Confined Space Consideration' link.

On the next screen, under Default Confined Space Consideration heading, select:

Then click the 'Add Default Consideration For Company' link of the default confined space consideration.

3.Delete Company Confined Space Consideration

Deleting company confined space consideration may have to be done if the company confined space considerations was added to the system incorrectly. Only company confined space considerations that have not do not have been included in a confined space entry report can be deleted.

To delete a company confined space considerations click the 'Delete' link of the company confined space consideration you want to delete.

4.Look up Company Confined Space Consideration

To get to the edit screen of a confined space consideration, click on the name of the company equipment inspection that you would like to edit.

5.Edit Confined Space Consideration

The company confined space consideration section allows users to edit the company confined space consideration. Considerations includes the consideration name, order and active status.
