Work Type

Work types will be used to describe what type of work is being performed on a specific work order. When you set up work types you will add references to the task categories that are associated. Setting up different work types, will mean hazard assessments created for different work orders with different work places will have different task added to them. This will save your workers the time of writing out the specific tasks related to each to of work.

Add Work Type

Once on the Work Type screen, click on the add Work Type button.

Fields

Work Type Name: Enter the work type name. The character limit of this field is 45.

Work Type Abbreviation: Enter the work type abbreviation. The character limit of this field is 10.

Click the 'Save Work Type' button to add the work type.

Look Up Work Type

By clicking on the work type name link, of the work type value you would like view you will be taken to the edit work type screen.

Edit Work Type

Click the Work type name that you would like to edit, you will be on the edit work type screen. Here you can edit the work type.

Fields

Work Type Name: Enter the work type name. The character limit of this field is 45.

Work Type Abbreviation: Enter the work type abbreviation. The character limit of this field is 10.

Click the 'Save Work Type' button to add the work type.

Choose Task Category to add to Work Type section

Click the 'Add (name of the task category)' button to add the task category to the work type section.

Delete Work Type

Clicking the delete link of a work type record. Will delete the work type record in the system.
