The emergency response plan section allows field staff to create emergency response plan for job sites. Emergency Response Plan can be created from scratch for any job site or based
on a a existing Emergency Response Plan. R & T Electric Pro will record when timecard entries are created and edited for field staff if a valid emergency response plan existed
for the job site based on the companies policy on how often emergency response plans must be conducted.
Since each job site is different, safetynet allows a field staff to setup a specific emergency response plans for each job site. Each Emergency Response Plan for a job site
is set up with a number of sections; basic information about type of work occurring on site, location information, and possible emergency on the job site.
Configuring R & T Electric Pro for how often a Emergency Response Plans should be updated
R & T Electric Pro can be configured to match your companies safety policy regarding how often emergency response plans must be conducted and/or updated. This can be configured in the Company Safety Settings section for more information in this
manual click here.

1.Add Emergency Response Plan by Work Order |
Steps
- From the Main Menu screen, tap the On Site Paperwork button.
- Then tap on the Emergency Response Plan button.
- This opens the Add Emergency Response Plan by Work Order entry screen.
- Date: The date field allow field staff to choose the date the emergency response plan occurs.
- Tap the Date field to open the Choose Date screen.
- Scroll the date wheel on the far left of the screen until the desired date is highlighted.
- Return to the Add Emergency Response Plan screen by either tapping Save in the top right corner to select the highlighted date or tapping Cancel in the top left corner to leave the Date: field unchanged.
- Work Order #: The work order field to open the Choose Work Order screen.
Work orders are listed in descending order with the work order number in blue text,
the customer name in black text, and the scope of work in red text.
Note: New work orders are not automatically added to the list when they are created, so it may be necessary to update the list click here to view information about updating for the desired work order to be included in the list.
To Search Work Orders: Pull down on the list view, the search is defaulted to search by date enter the date in following
format YYYY-MM-DD. The other options for the Work Order search are by work order number and customer. Enter your search
criteria and click the Search button.
- Scroll the list of work orders until the desired work order is displayed on the screen.
- Tap the desired work order to select it or tap Back in the top left corner to leave the Work Order # field unchanged and return to the Add Emergency Response Plan screen.
- Return to the Add Emergency Response Plan screen by either tapping Save in the top right corner to select the highlighted work order or tapping Cancel in the top left corner to leave the Work Order field unchanged.
- Tap the + icon in the top right corner to add the Emergency Response Plan.
- A pop-up message that reads Emergency Response Plan Added indicates that the Emergency Response Plan is ready to have details to be entered.
Error Messages on Add Emergency Response Plan if
- Work Order not selected: if no work order is selected a error message will appear asking users to select a work order.
- Emergency Response Plan all ready added: if emergency response plan is all ready added for job site a error message will appear telling users a emergency response plan for job site is all ready added.

- Tap the Job Site field to open the Choose Job Site screen.
Job Site Names are listed in descending order job site name.
Note: Job Sites by nature will be updated and added to the list all the time, so it may be necessary to update the list click here.
To Search Job Sites: Pull down on the list view, the search is defaulted to search by job site name.
The other option for the Job Site search are by customer. Enter your search
criteria and click the Search button.
- Scroll the list of job sites until the desired job site is displayed on the screen.
- Tap the desired job site to select it or tap Back in the top left corner to leave the Job Site field unchanged and return to the Add Emergency Response Plan screen.
- Return to the Add Emergency Response Plan screen by either tapping the appropriate job site or tapping Cancel in the top left corner to leave the job site field unchanged.
- Tap the + icon in the top right corner to add the Emergency Response Plan.
- A pop-up message that reads Emergency Response Plan Added indicates that the Emergency Response Plan is ready to have details to be entered.

- From the Main Menu screen, tap the On Site Paperwork button.
- Then tap on the Emergency Response Plan button.
- Then tap on the fourth tab on the bottom of the screen, this opens the Emergency Response Plan History screen.
The screen loads with emergency response plan date and job site name in black with the scope of work in red.
- Scroll the list of Emergency Response Plans until the desired Emergency Response Plan is displayed on the screen.
- Tap the emergency response plan you would like to view, this loads the site information page of the history section.
- Tap the Generate New Plan button at the bottom of the screen to create a new emergency response plan.
- A pop-up message that reads Emergency Response Plan Added indicates that the Emergency Response Plan is ready to have details to be entered.

4.Look Up Open Emergency Response Plan |

Once in the Emergency Response Plan section

- Tap the third tab on the menu, the Emergency Response Plan view.
To Search Emergency Response Plans: Pull down on the list view, the search is defaulted to search by date enter the date in following
format YYYY-MM-DD. The other option for the Emergency Response Plan search by job site. Enter your search
criteria and click the Search button.
- Scroll the list of Emergency Response Plans until the desired Emergency Response Plan is displayed on the screen.

- Tap on the Emergency Response Plan you would like to view. This loads the emergency response plan edit screen.

5.Edit Emergency Response Plan Details |
|
The first step in completing a Emergency Response Plan is completing the details of the plan the date, type of work hazard
location of work in relation to medical aid, number of workers, scope of work, tools and equipment required, emergency equipment available and
personal protective equipment.
Once on the Emergency Response Plan you would like to Edit, on the second details tab.
Fields
- Date: The date field allow field staff to choose the date and time the emergency response plan occurs.
- Tap the Date field to open the Choose Date screen.
- Scroll the date wheel on the far left of the screen until the desired date is highlighted.
- Return to the Edit Emergency Response Plan screen by either tapping Save in the top right corner to select the highlighted date or tapping Cancel in the top left corner to leave the Date: field unchanged.
- Tap the Prepared By field to open the Choose Employee screen.
Employees are listed in descending order.
To Search Employees: Pull down on the list view, the search is defaulted to search by last name.
The other option for the Employee search is by first name. Enter your search
criteria and click the Search button.
- Scroll the list of employees until the desired employee is displayed on the screen.
- Tap the desired employee to select it or tap Back in the top left corner to leave the Employee field unchanged and return to the Edit Emergency Response Plan screen.
- Return to the Edit First Aid Kit Inspection screen by either tapping the appropriate vehicle or tapping Cancel in the top left corner to leave the employee field unchanged.
- Type of Work Hazard: The Type of Work Hazard field refers to the type of hazards involved with the type of work occurring on the job site.
The type of work hazard are listed in red text.
- Tap the Type of Work Hazard field to open the Choose Type of Work Hazard screen.
- Scroll the list of type of work hazards until the desired type of work hazard is displayed on the screen.
- Tap the desired type of work hazard to select it or tap Back in the top left corner to leave the type of work hazard field unchanged and return to the First Aid Requirements Calculator screen.
- Return to the Edit Emergency Response Plan screen by either tapping Save in the top right corner to select the highlighted date or tapping Cancel in the top left corner to leave the Type of Work Hazard field unchanged.
- Location of Work: The Location of Work field refers to the proximity to a medical treatment facility in relation to the job site.
The location of work are listed in red text.
- Tap the Location of Work field to open the Choose Location of Work screen.
- Scroll the list of location of work until the desired location of work is displayed on the screen.
- Tap the desired location of work to select it or tap Back in the top left corner to leave the location of work field unchanged and return to the First Aid Requirements Calculator screen.
- Return to the Edit Emergency Response Plan screen by either tapping Save in the top right corner to select the highlighted date or tapping Cancel in the top left corner to leave the Location of Work field unchanged.
- Number of Workers: The Number of Workers field enter the number of workers that will be working on the job site.
- Tap + to increase the number of workers or - to decrease the number of workers on the Stepper
- Scope of Work: The Scope of Work field allows field staff to enter the scope of work being performed on the job site. The character limit of this field is 350.
- Tools/Equipment Required: The Tools/Equipment Required field allows field staff to enter the tools and equipment required to complete the work. The character limit of this field is 250.
- Emergency Equipment Available: The Emergency Equipment Available field allows field staff to enter the emergency equipment available on site. The character limit of this field is 250.
- Personal Protective Equipment: The Personal Protective Equipment field allows field staff to enter the personal protective equipment required on the site and to complete the job. The character limit of this field is 250.
- Tap Save in the top right corner to save any changes to the Emergency Response Plan Details.
- A pop-up message that reads Emergency Response Plan Details have been Saved indicates that the emergency response plan details have been saved.

6.Add Employee Signature |
|
The employee creating the emergency response plan must provide an electronic signature to indicate that they have created the plan.
Once on the Emergency Response plan you would like to Edit, on the first tab

- Tap the Sign Emergency Response Plan button to open the Signature screen.
- Sign in the white space beneath the Save New Signature Here label.
- Tap Save in the top right corner of the screen to update the Saved Signature field.
The saved signature will appear below the signature entry screen.

7.Edit Emergency Response Plan Location Details |
|
Once on the Emergency Response Plan you would like to view
Steps
- Tap on the third tab, the Location icon at the bottom of the screen to open the Location Detail screen.
- Nearest Hospital: The Nearest Hospital field allows field staff to enter the address of the nearest hospital to the job site. The character limit of this field is 150.<
- Nearest Fire Department: The Nearest Fire Department field allows field staff to enter the address of the nearest fire department to the job site. The character limit of this field is 150.<
- First Aid Station: The First Aid Station field allows field staff to enter first aid location on site. The character limit of this field is 150.<
- Muster Point: The Muster Point field allows field staff to enter the muster point on the job site. The character limit of this field is 150.<
- Fire Extinguisher Location: The Fire Extinguisher Location field allows filed staff to enter the fire extinguisher locations on the job site . The character limit of this field is 100.<
- Site Supervisor: The Site Supervisor field allows field staff to enter site supervisors name. The character limit of this field is 50.<
- Email: The Email field allows field staff to enter the email address of the site supervisor. The character limit of this field is 80.<
- Phone: The Phone field allows field staff to enter the phone number of the site supervisor. The character limit of this field is 20.<
- Emergency Response Number: The Emergency Response Number field allows field staff to enter the emergency response number of job site. The character limit of this field is 20.<
- Office Number: The Office Number field allows field staff to enter office number of your company. The character limit of this field is 20.
- Tap Save in the top right corner to save any changes to the Emergency Response Plan Location Details.
- A pop-up message that reads Emergency Response Plan Details have been Saved indicates that the emergency response plan details have been saved.

8.Add Possible Emergency |
|
Possible Emergencies are the possible situations that may occur on a job site. For each possible emergency on the emergency response plan, users should include
the response and responsibilities of field staff in the case of each emergency. Its important that field staff knows what their responsibilities are in the case of
a emergency so people are not confused.
Once on the Emergency Response Plan you would like to view

9.Look Up Possible Emergency |

12.Look Up First Aid Requirements |

Once on the Emergency Response Plan you would like to view

in emergency response plan details section.
- Tap on the Details button in the top right corner, this loads the next screen with first aid kit requirements.

13.Submit Emergency Response Plan |

Once on the Emergency Response Plan you would like to Edit, on the first tab

- Tap Submit Emergency Response Plan button to submit the emergency response plan.
Error Messages on Submit Emergency Response Plan if
- Employee Signature Missing: if the employee has not signed the emergency response plan a error message will appear telling users the emergency response plan could not be submitted with out signature from the employee.
- Possible Emergency missing: if the no possible emergencies have been added to the emergency response plan a error message will appear telling users the emergency response plan could not be submitted with out possible emergency being added.
- Scope of work missing: if the scope of work is missing on the emergency response plan a error message will appear telling users the emergency response plan could not be submitted with out scope of work being added.
- Scope of work missing: if the scope of work is missing on the emergency response plan a error message will appear telling users the emergency response plan could not be submitted with out tools equipment required description being added.
- Tool equipment required missing: if the tools and equipment required description is missing on the emergency response plan a error message will appear telling users the emergency response plan could not be submitted with out emergency equipment description being added.
- Personal protective equipment description missing: if the personal protective equipment description is missing on emergency response plan a error message will appear telling users the emergency response plan could not be submitted with out personal protective equipment description being added.
- Report is submitted out of order: if the emergency response plan drill is submitted out of order a error message will appear telling users the emergency response plan drill is submitted out of order.

15.View Closed Emergency Response Plan |
|
After Emergency Response Plans have been closed out, they will be available to look at through the History view on the iPhone Application.
- Then tap on the fourth tab on the bottom of the screen, this opens the Emergency Response Plan History screen.
The screen loads with emergency response plan date and job site name in black with the scope of work in red.
To Search Emergency Response Plans: Pull down on the list view, the search is defaulted to search by date enter the date in following
format YYYY-MM-DD. The other option for the Emergency Response Plan search by job site. Enter your search
criteria and click the Search button.
- Scroll the list of Emergency Response Plans until the desired Emergency Response Plan is displayed on the screen.
- Tap the emergency response plan you would like to view, this loads the site information page of the history section.

- Tap the fifth tab, the first aid requirements tab of the History view. This loads with the first aid requirements of the Emergency Response Plan.

16.Update Emergency Response Plans |
|
As other field staff and employee's perform emergency response plan the library of existing emergency response plan for field staff to use will grow. Also to perform
emergency response plan drills field staff perform emergency response plan drills with other staff there will be a need for field staff to update their IPhone application.
Steps
- From the Menu screen, tap the Updates button.
- Scroll the list of sections until you find the Emergency Response Plan button.
- Tap on the Emergency Response Plan button.
