Company MSDS

The company material safety data sheet (MSDS) section allows companine"s to manage the list of controlled products on each Job Site and provide field staff access to the MSDS for each product.

Management, Safety Officers and Office Staff can manage the list of controlled products listed for companies job sites. Its very important that these lists of products on job sites are maintained and are accurate.

Management, Safety Officers and Office Staff can edit the company msds workplace labels. When a company msds is added, the company msds work place label is defaulted from the system msds workplace label values. If your company would like employees to place different messages on the workplace label then what R & T Electric Pro has provided it can be changed in this section.

Safety Net Smartphone application allows field staff to view the material safety data sheets of the controlled products for each job site in the field. For information about material safety data sheet section through the Smartphone click here.

Company MSDS can be searched by job site. Users can narrow search results by choosing a job site. Users must also first search by a job site before adding company MSDS for a job site.

All search results can be sorted by clicking on the results headings Product Name, Supplier, and Product Type. Clicking on the same heading can do switching the results order from ascending to descending.

Company MSDS can be searched by supplier and product type. Users can narrow search results by choosing a combination of the search criteria.

All search results can be sorted by clicking on the results headings Product Name, Supplier, and Product Type. Clicking on the same heading can do switching the results order from ascending to descending.

Click the 'Print View" link at the top of the search results.

Note: The print view will load with the full list of company MSDS, the job site list of MSDS or the search results from supplier and or product type search.

Once you have used the 'Search Company MSDS By Job Site' function to choose a job site.

After clicking 'Add System MSDS sheet to Jobsite' link

System MSDS can be searched by supplier and product type. Users can narrow search results by choosing a combination of the search criteria.

Once you have used the 'Search Company MSDS By Job Site' function to choose a job site.

After clicking 'Add System MSDS sheet to Jobsite' link

Scroll the list of System MSDS until you find the controlled product, that you would like to add to the list of company msds for the job site.

Click the 'Add to Job site' link of the System MSDS.

Once on the click on the "Product Name" of the company msds that you would like to edit the workplace label for.

Fields

Workplace Label One: The workplace label one field allows the user to add a the name of the controlled product. The character limit of the field is 300.

Workplace Label Two: The workplace label two field allows the user to add a description of the hazards and first aid procedures of the controlled product. The character limit of the field is 300.

Workplace Label Three: The workplace label three field allows the user to edit the third label, which usually reads 'Read the material safety data sheet before using this product.' The character limit of the field is 300.

Click the 'Save Company MSDS' button to edit a company msds.

Scroll the list of Company MSDS until you find the controlled product you would like to view the company msds workplace label for.

Click the 'WP Label' link of the Company MSDS.

Scroll the list of Company MSDS until you find the controlled product you would like to view the company msds PDF for.

Click the 'View MSDS' link of the Company MSDS to view the PDF.

Scroll the list of Company MSDS until you find the controlled product you would like to delete.

Click the 'Delete' link of the Company MSDS to delete.
