Personal Protective Equipment Inspections

The personal protective equipment inspections section allows a user to create and record a personal protective equipment inspection. Personal Protective Equipment Inspections can be create from a company personal protective equipment inspection.

Safetynet allows a your companies staff to setup a specific personal protective equipment inspection for personal protective equipment your company use, personal protective equipment inspections can be created from default equipment inspections.

2. Tasks that are marked as requiring attention are added to a maintenance report, once the inspection is submitted.

Configuring how often Personal Protective Equipment Inspections are to Occur

How often personal protective equipment inspections must occur is a function of your companies policy regarding personal protective equipment inspections. To configure Safety Net for how often personal protective equipment inspections should occur can be configured in the company safety settings.

Management, Office Staff and Safety Officers can edit how often personal protective equipment inspections should occur in the Company section when they edit the Company Safety settings. Creating Company Personal Protective Equipment Inspection

The Company Personal Protective Equipment Inspections section allows companies to develop the personal protective equipment inspections documents for personal protective equipment the company uses on a regular basis, without having to carry out a personal protective equipment inspection. The ppe inspection section is only available to users that have the ppe inspection section turned on for their users group. To change users access to ppe inspections, management and office staff can change access in Application Section to view the information about the Application Section Click Here

Personal Protective Equipment inspections can be searched by a combination of customer and submission status. Users can narrow search results by choosing any combination of the two search criteria.

All search results can be sorted by clicking on the results headings Date, Inspection Name, Conducted By, and Inspection Time. Clicking on the same heading can do switching the results order from ascending to descending.

Deleting personal protective equipment inspections may have to be done if the personal protective equipment inspection was added to the system incorrectly. Only personal protective equipment inspections that have not been reviewed by management can be deleted.

To delete a personal protective equipment inspections click the 'Delete' link of the personal protective equipment inspection you want to delete.

To add a Personal Protective Equipment Inspection, click on the 'Add Personal Protective Equipment Inspection' link.

On the next screen, under Add Personal Protective Equipment Inspection heading, select:

Date: The equipment inspection date is the day the personal protective equipment inspection was carried out. The format of this field is YYYY-MM-DD.

Inspection Time: By selecting a inspection from the select box, which loads with pre work or post work.

Company Personal Protective Equipment Inspection: By selecting a company personal protective equipment inspection from the company personal protective equipment inspection select box users can choose personal protective equipment inspection of the company.

Then click the 'Add Personal Protective Equipment Inspection' button. The edit personal protective equipment inspection screen will load. From here, proceed to edit as per the instructions below.

From each html view you can also open the PDF version of the report by clicking on the PDF link on the top of the page.

Click the 'Save Equipment Inspection' button to ensure that any information changed is saved in the system.

Once the edit personal protective equipment inspection screen

Click the Load Edit Personal Protective Equipment Details button of the piece of equipment the user wants to edit, this loads the edit equipment detail screen

Fields

Checked Flag: Allows the user to select the condition from the select box of the personal protective equipment inspection detail.

Comments: Allows the user to input comments about the condition or deficiencies of the personal protective equipment inspection detail. If Requires attention is selected from the condition field a note must entered describing what requires attention. The character limit of this field is 250.

Once the necessary information has been input, click the 'Edit PPE Equipment Details' button.

Once a personal protective equipment inspection has been completed, it must be submitted for review by management. To do this, click on the 'Submit PPE Inspection' button.

Once a personal protective equipment inspection has been submitted, management or supervisory staff should review and sign off that the personal protective equipment inspection has been completed properly and that issues found can be brought to the attention of the proper personnel.
